HAZEL GREAVES
Hazel has had an interest in all things stationery for pretty much most of her life; this has developed into a particular interest in fountain pens, particularly the vintage pre-1940’s variety. Hazel also has interests in vintage desk-top items – blotters, ink-wells, letter-openers etc. along with related ephemera.
Hazel joined WES in 2016 and undertook the pen repair classes in Narborough with Jeremy Collingridge at the helm in 2017, shortly afterwards joining Council as Secretary, (after receiving a ‘tap on the shoulder’).
After Chris became Chair, she asked Hazel whether she would like to provide editorial support, alongside her Secretarial role, by becoming Lead Content Editor to which she readily agreed.
After recent retirement from the NHS, Hazel is now looking forward to spending more time visiting antique fairs and auctions, where she can hunt out further interesting items.
