GEORGE PARAPADAKIS
George is an Information and Process Management professional by trade and his career background spans all aspects of software production from design to product management, business development and marketing. He was recognised as a Fellow of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) for his contribution to the industry. George currently works as an Industry Analyst for Customer Experience products and services.
George has had an unhealthy fascination with stationery all his life, but his passion for fountain pens developed after inheriting three fountain pens from his father and engaging a local pen repairer to service them. Having been bitten by the bug, he now collects vintage (mainly Parker and Sheaffer) and modern Chinese fountain pens, while honing his own pen repair skills.
George took the role of Trade Liaison for WES in 2022, and is particularly keen to showcase new talent in the writing equipment industry to WES members. He would be happy to hear from you at trade@wesonline.org.uk.
George took formally the role of Librarian and Archivist for WES in 2025, and is particularly keen to ensure that members continue to have access to one of the most comprehensive reference libraries for Writing Equipment in the world. For access requests, please contact George at librarian@wesonline.org.uk.
As Webmaster, George has also taken an active role in maintaining and upgrading the current WES website infrastructure, while developing a new set of capabilities that will ensure its long-term maintainability.
